Meet our caring Administrative Staff

We are so fortunate to have a team of caring, friendly faces at our front desk

and supporting the clinic behind the scenes!

They truly keep our day flowing well and work hard to make

sure your visit is a great one.

Christie L. - Hospital Manager

After spending more than 11 years as the Hospital Administrator for a local 24-hour emergency and specialty practice, Christie joined Woodhaven in 2013. Having worked in the greater Seattle community for most of her veterinary career, Christie was aware of Woodhaven and its quality of medicine and was thrilled when this position became available, as serving the staff and the local community in what she loves to do.

In her spare time Christie enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin, pup Maple, cat Jasmine, Herbie the box turtle and a very spoiled colony of hermit crabs!

Kody M.- Client Service Manager
Kody was born and raised on the island of Guam, where her love of working animals began in their family owned and operated exotic animal & horse rescue. In the Marianas, she learned to work with many different animals, from tiny sugar gliders to tigers & bears, at the on-site veterinary facility. She was able to watch her first surgery on a lion at the age of 8 and never looked back!

She began working in Emergency and Specialty as well as zoo medicine prior to graduating high school, where her passion for the field intensified in not only patient care, but client service as well. Working in a variety of roles; from kennel, to surgery, administrative and more, Kody finally found herself at home at Woodhaven in 2018.

Outside of the clinic, Kody spends her time playing her instruments, gaming on her PC, traveling, and spending time with her partner and their pets (dogs, cats, chickens, fish!) at their home in Bothell.

Melissa M. - Client Service Shift Lead

You will see her splitting her time between the medical team and the front desk team, learning about all aspects of a veterinary clinic. When not at work she is usually studying and spending time with her family and fantastic pups!

Her favorite color is yellow (which matches her sunny personality!), and her interests include baking and watching true crime documentaries. If you ever ask her about anything true crime related, you'd be talking for hours. Growing up she have always had pets; from rats to hamsters, cats to dogs, she loved them all. She wants you to know she LOVES what she does in client service and is so happy she has found her forever career.
