Meet our caring Administrative Staff

We are so fortunate to have a team of caring, friendly faces at our front desk

and supporting the clinic behind the scenes!

They truly keep our day flowing well and work hard to make

sure your visit is a great one.

Christie L. - Hospital Manager

After spending more than 11 years as the Hospital Administrator for a local 24-hour emergency and specialty practice, Christie joined Woodhaven in 2013. Having worked in the greater Seattle community for most of her veterinary career, Christie was aware of Woodhaven and its quality of medicine and was thrilled when this position became available, as serving the staff and the local community is what she loves to do.

When not focused on Woodhaven, Christie also volunteers and serves on the Board of Directors for local non-profit, Seattle Veterinary Outreach. She and her husband also foster for Old Dog Haven and Emerald City Pet Rescue.

In her spare time Christie enjoys spending time with her husband Kevin, pups Bonnie and Lulu, Melly the vocal cat, Herbie the box turtle, a tank of tetras and a very spoiled colony of hermit crabs!

Jae H. - Client Service Manager

After many years of working in veterinary medicine, Jae joined WVC in 2022. They bring a mix of skill, compassion and humor to us! Currently finishing a BS degree in Biology, Jae is also interested in pursuing communications/management degrees as well.

From a very young age, Jae was enamored with all things veterinary. After working and managing in humane societies, boarding facilities and veterinary clinics, they are thrilled to bring their skill to Woodhaven.

Jae especially appreciates being involved in end of life care, helping clients, pets and staff through a difficult time, with love and care.

In their spare time, Jae is a competitive costumer, making and showing at event. They love music, time with their fiancé, art and video games. All things creative really! Their home is shared with 3 silly kitties and several rambunctious pet rats!

Melissa M. - Client Service Shift Lead

Melissa joined WVC in 2019, after spending a number of years living in Florida and working as a veterinary assistant. From the time she was a young child, Melissa wanted to help pets, in turn helping their owners. She has a strong interest in medicine and business; especially working with nervous pets and seeing them made more comfortable during their visit and in turn helping clients understand their pets needs.

In the future, Melissa hopes to learn more about cardiology, as she has a passion for cardiac care. You will see her splitting her time between the medical team and the front desk team, learning about all aspects of a veterinary clinic.

When not at work she is usually spending time with her family, reading, baking and taking photographs. She currently shares her home with 3 wonderful dogs, Princess (Havanese mix, 16 years young!), Bentley, a busy 4-year-old Labrador and Blair, a sweet 3-year-old mix!

Angie B. - Client Service

After working in other local veterinary practices, we were lucky enough to be able to hire Angie in September of 2007. Her attention to detail and love for pets is evident in her work at WVC.

When Angie is not at WVC, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 active kiddos, refinishing furniture and discovering new breakfast spots. She is a talented furniture refinisher, with a thriving online following for her beautiful pieces.

Heather A. - Client Service

We were fortunate to have Heather join WVC in January of 2023. After 6 years of veterinary work at another practice, Heather was seeking a new opportunity. She brings a mix of compassion, energy and love to her position. When she is not at WVC, she enjoys time with her husband, their 2 kitties and her friends.

Jodie L. - Client Service

After relocating to Washington from New York, Jodie joined Woodhaven in 2012. She brought with her experience from a busy veterinary practice in upstate New York. When Jodie is not at Woodhaven she enjoys cooking new dishes with her husband and daughter. She is also one of the best bakers in the building!

Kaytlynn M . - Client Service

Kaytlynn joined WVC in 2020, after honing her client service skills at another local practice. She was excited to join a larger practice and work in a bigger team. She is married, has a beautiful daughter and a cat named Sif, as in the wife of Thor.

Her favorite color is yellow (which matches her sunny personality!), and her interests include baking and watching true crime documentaries. If you ever ask her about anything true crime related, you'd be talking for hours. Growing up she have always had pets; from rats to hamsters, cats to dogs, she loved them all. She wants you to know she LOVES what she does in client service and is so happy she has found her forever career.

Naomi W. - Client Service

After working in the child care industry for more than 20 years, Naomi was seeking a new challenge and was very excited to join WVC in 2020. She looks forward to learning about veterinary medicine and seeing the pets on a daily basis. Outside of work she spends her time with a loving husband, daughter and pup!
